Meet Chef Asher
Some of my happiest memories growing up in my large Moroccan family revolve around the countless afternoons and holidays spent in our small kitchen with my grandmother, mother, and a lively group of aunts. The kitchen was where everything happened—the smells, the flavors, the conversations. It was the heart of our home. The dishes prepared by the women in my family were extraordinary, and I was captivated by their natural skill and efficiency in the kitchen. This passion for food eventually led me to culinary school. This early start in formal culinary education set my foundation.
After graduating, I worked in 5-star hotels, developing recipes, creating menus, and designing food experiences for everything from intimate private dinners to large-scale events for up to 2,000 guests. My journey eventually brought me to the United States, specifically Columbus, Ohio, where I’ve found a second home and built a life with my family.
Now, I’m proud to bring my love for flavorful traditional Moroccan dishes, along with some of my own fusion creations, to your table. I import all my spices directly from Morocco and Israel ensuring authenticity and richness of flavors. Seasoning that elevates slow-cooked savory meats and brings out bold flavors of the freshest dates, nuts and vegetables, to elevate every bite. My commitment to high-quality, traditional ingredients highlights my dedication to preserving and sharing my culinary heritage with you.
